When the volume is lowered and the music is barely audible… When the words we try to read look as if they are rained on and blurred out… When the sun shines sporadically and the night comes too early… The radio is blasting out static noises and the television is broadcasting white noisey images. The streets are silent save for the random car traffic. The temperature is cold and the sky is dark...the morning comes… Birds gossiping in the trees, squirrels mining their acorns and cats moaning in heat. Brooklyn brownstones, streets of cobblestones and the Manhattan Bridge… When will I win? When will I win? When… River is dark and rushing along; the bridges tower across it. Young man on a skateboard racing downhill never thinking about the way back up. Street vendors hawking their goods and tourists posing with Freedom behind them. New York City is in black and white today but tomorrow it's forecast to be blue and orange. Brooklyn brownstones, streets of cobblestones and the Brooklyn Bridge… I am ready to win. I am ready to win. I am ready... #punchintheface #freedomInstagram
