Thanksgiving – Thank you all
Sports is a welcomed distraction from this messed up world. It brings strangers and families together to high five, argue and discuss strategy - second guessing each move and complaining profanely when a hitter cannot hit a 95 mile an hour slider or a 100 mile an hour fastball. As a baseball fan and an obvious Met's fan (if you know me) our lives revolve around baseball 365 days a year and sometimes even 366 days. Updates and Some Thoughts
My update here is to acknowledge that I have a problem and I am tackling it. Mental issues are hard because they can be intangible, untraceable to the blood tests or physical examinations. But I feel the pain as I walk and I remember another day, week, year, decade has past me by and I have yet to ascend as I had wished, hoped and dreamed of doing.
