You go out socializing and people look at you as if you are an alien because of how you dress, act or walk. The world is constantly trying to enforce conformity imprisonment on each person.

Stuff that Makes up a Life
Love doesn't become expendable when we meet someone better looking, smarter or more fun. At least it shouldn't. Only people who are lost themselves will fall to the "grass is greener" ideology perpetuated by this disposable society.

Who Catches the Tears?
But where do the tears fall? Do they fall on the ground to simply dry up and to be forgotten? Where do the ones who cry run when the tears just cannot stop from welling up within their souls, into their hearts, into their minds out through their eyes and then onto the ground, left to be absorbed into the dirt, forgotten.

Reject hatred and reject conformity. Embrace love and accept diversity… Sometimes wars need to be fought to eradicate the ones who live to kill. Peace is only true if fear is non-existent.

Riding the Writer’s Block Train
I sit by my laptop at night or early in the morning and I draw a blank. I think about people I have seen on the trains, the streets or in cafes. I think about the customers I have met, family members and friends. Their faces and demeanor scream stories but my brain wont speak to my fingers.

Thailand and the Freedom of Choice
Some people are praising the Lord for the rescue mission - that's all well and good - but, it was the human freedom of choice which caused and which ended the ordeal. If we praise the Lord for every situation such as this - who do we blame when human indifference or human violence steals the freedom and the life from millions of people around the world? Is God still in control then? It's easy to give full credit and blame to a Higher power - it's imperative and the survival of the world depends on it - for us to take responsibility to act when we can.

Emotional Freedom
The problem with fear and anxiety is that unless you have been through it - it makes no sense to you and you simply want to smack the person experiencing it and say, “Get over it!” If only it were that simple...

Feeling and Saying, “Thank You”
Some people pray to their higher power with words written by others and read them quickly to get through the task. Think of it like a little kid when their guardian says, “Say thank you.” They put on an angry face and say in a deep and quick pace, “Thankyou.” “Thank yous” become a reflex reaction like a knee jerk. You are given something that is priceless and you say, “Thank you.” A sports player excels and points at the sky and says, “Thank you.” But when they fail do they express gratitude for at least being given the chance?

Wrestlers of Morality
They congregate in hundred million dollar temples filled false piety, false gods and self-serving prayers. Hatred is a uniter for them - because hatred is a defensive response to fear and aren't we all scared about losing everything we have?

Dreams or One step at a Time
We are tainted with those feelings of ignorant hatred, racist thoughts, although tucked away in the back of our minds, despite our best intentions to expunge them, still appear from time to time.

Emma Gonzalez and the generation that will change the world
The tools of the trade must be made much less accessible - begin by enacting laws to make it harder to be able to purchase a gun. Enact laws to put on trial the sellers of these gun which lead to murders. Ask the questions - did you follow the protocol while selling the gun or did you just check the boxes to make the sale? Put into place laws that will make it difficult for anyone to purchase a gun. Should someone sell guns illegally sentence them to a harsh jail sentence. Should someone die or be injured by this gun - they should be held as an accomplice.

Keep the Humans in Baseball
I find it difficult imagining a computer umpiring a baseball game. The umpiring is as much a part of the game as the players themselves. They are human. They make mistakes, they perform their tasks passionately and to the best of their ability. That is why there are so few Major league players and umpires in comparison to how many there are in the world. The best of the best make the cut.

Jose Fernandez – This is Not how It was supposed to End
Jose Fernandez was a pitcher who could tell you what pitch he would throw and still make you look like a fool trying to hit it. He possessed an exuberance and a passion in each step he took that was effervescent and alive.
