It takes a lot of guts to showcase my writing. It's not easy and each time I hit publish I get excited and frightened simultaneously. This is a piece of work I am proud of because I could've easily just tucked it away and forgot about it. It may not be the best written piece I have written but it's been refined, edited, changed, twisted and turned upside down and downside up.
